I keep developing painful small lumps in my armpits in between periods but then they go away. What are they?

It sounds like your lymph nodes, which swell and shrink at all different times. They can swell up if you have a cold, or if you start taking new medicines, hormonal changes,etc..and I'm sure it's nothing to do with your dog!

its probably your lymph nodes as has been said, but maybe a check with your doctor would be better for personal satisfaction of everything being alright?
