In my pet business, I take care of a female puppy, Athena, who is wonderful, and owned 2 many years ago. Since the breed is German, perhaps a german-type name; i.e., Oscar, Hans, or go to Ask.com and ask a brief question, such as: A good german name for a Weimaraner dog? You will absolutely love this breed, as I do--sweet, playful, active. Be sure to give him lots of excercise, like dog parks when he's bigger, which is what I do for the running. Also, keep him trim--they are meant to have sleek bodies.
