I just got this great puppy she is 8 months old and crys and wins when i leave the house how do i stop it?
Answers:
well first your not suppost to leave a dog alone in a house.Seconed Your like his parent baby"s cry when theer parent"s leave them to.Try taking the puppy with you when you go out if your going to work send him to a dog hotel so yeah.
Leave her with toys and let her cry. She'll stop once she get used to.
Crate trained?
its a puppy thing, she will grow out of it :]
its normal
She cries and whines because she is suffering from separation anxiety. She hasn't learned that you'll come back. Not enough space here to tell you how to train her. Check with local pet store for ideas. Basic premise is that through conditioning, she'll learn that you're coming back.
I Watched This Program The Other Day Were This Person Had The Same Problem They Were Advised To Either Leave A Recording Of There Voice On So It Felt As If You Were There Or Leave A Item Of Your Clothing With Your Scent On In Your Dogs Bed And Keep It In A Separate Room And After A While Give It A Treat Before You Go Out And When You Get Back In Or Leave It A Toy Or Treat To Keep It Occupied,, This Worked For The Owner :)
put her in a place where she feels secure, and give her something with your scent on it to lay with. she may never stop the crying- mine is a year now and she still cries when I leave the house.
My puppy did the same thing for about 2-3 weeks after I got her. She is just a puppy and is just lonely.give her some toys to play with. I also read in a puppy book it's good to leave the radio or the tv on so that they wont feel so lonely. It will stop when she gets use to her new home.
I would say it's a simple case of abanondment anxiety! I used to have a shephard who would whine, and then tear the house up due to his anxiety level. Perhaps a kennel inside the home (I know it's hard if the pup isn't used to it, but it will eventually settle him and allow him to know he has his own security spot to relax in.)
Hi, if you let her follow you everywhere you go when you are at home, try not letting her follow sometimes or certain places. For example when you have a shower and stuff, close the door. When she whines, tell her no. I looked after my daughters puppy for a couple of days. Every time we would chain her up outside and go in for a few minutes, she would whine and bark, not good for the neighbors at 6:30 in the morning. So I put the nozzle on the garden hose and had it at the ready. As soon as she barked or whined (I waited just inside the door), I would give her a quick spray of water and say no! I only had to spray her twice and she learned. A couple of times after that, I just had to say "No" and she stopped instantly. After that, she was good. Hope this helped, good luck!
create train him dogs feel more secure if they have a house of their own to snuggle in also put a Kong with peanut butter in it this will keep him busy for a while and after he gets through the chewing stage if he still acts up put some of your old clothes in the create with him this helps with separation issues i also leave a radio or the tv on for our dogs
