I have a two and a half month old puppy. When should she be spayed?

Answers:
What breed of dog is she?
Most everyone that will answer will tell you 6 months or earlier. However, with larger dogs, the later the better. Larger dogs take longer to mature and grow and they are finding out now that it's better to wait till they are fully grown to alter them.
I am not at my own computer, but as soon as I am I will add more info to this and a link that would like for you to read. At least when you read it, you can make an informed decision.
Ok here is the link:

6 months old
At 6 months old, always before her first heat.
you could do it now. A vet told me dogs can be fixed at 2 months of age but little ones need to wait 6 months
I think around 5 or 6 months, but don't wait too long like I did or she could go through a heat, and you have to wait for that to end before you can spay them.
6 months
6 months would be the best time or before she goes into heat
you could do it now, but it's best to wait so she will be developed enough to withstand the surgery...if she is a bigger puppy, she might be ok, but waiting won't hurt anything...it's messy when they are in heat, but it doesn't hurt anything to wait...
when we adopted our little girl she was 13 weeks. She got spayed then. but that was because its shelter policy. i would have rather waited until 5-6 months.
At 6months old!You can do it before then but if you do i would do it when she is 4 or 5months.
what's your puppy's name what dose he or she like to do with you what dose she or he play with
as soon as possible.
Six months old.
