him i was able to take him outside and he would stay with me and he would let people pet him and at this time i had an older dog well as he got older our old dog died and they were best friends well after like 6 months or so he started to hate people except for us and then he started getting loose but not too were he would leave and run away he would just leave the house and wen ever we go and get him he runs away from us and i pamper him i give him nething he wants he even gets his own little meal on holiday he makes me feel really bad and this one lady said to us hes probably running becaue u beat on him and we dont but after we catch him wen we get into the house he goes right under the kitchen tabke to hide like he knows he did something wrong. hes a boxer shepered and lab hes not huge but hes not tiny i dont understand y he runs can anyone help?

Mabey before you got him he was abussed, and he still thinks that strangers can hurt him. Try to calmly introduce him to your neighbors and see how it goes. You could also try taking him to a puppy class. I also recommend you reading a dog book called ceasar's way. very informative and good.
