My dog is a 10 week old full blooded pitbull and she refuses to get on the leash and go out side to do her stuff. I dont know how to make it easier for her and better smelling for my apartment.

Here is a really good article on proper crating in order to potty train.

What you need to do is get a dog stake and post it in the ground. Then put her lease (better as a retractable) and stick that on the stake and let her do her business on her own. Most dogs dont like being on leashes to go the bathroom they like doing it on their own. I live in a house so we installed an eletric fence so we just let the dog go outside on its own with out a leash of any sort but since you are in an apartment that wont work. I hope this helps you out!
do you crate your dog? If not you need to start. Even if you are home you need to crate the dog while she learns. I made that mistake with my lab and didn't do it all the time. After I started doing it she would stay in the kennel and then I would take her outside. If she did her thing I gave her a treat and let her play if not I put her back in the kennel for another hour or so. Don't keep her in there for too long puppies have a small bladder they can't take more than 3 hours at a time with out going to the potty. Just make sure she has plenty of water in the kennel. Oh and get one of those expendable leashes so that she can have more privatcy.
I disagree with gaby girl. By putting it on a leash it has less room to run around. Put it on a leash and let it down.
news flash
if you cannot get this dog onto a leash at 10 weeks then you should get rid of it and buy a gold fish.
a pit bull is a dangerous and very strong dog. as a full grown adult she will be in control and you will be paying for a lot of damages..
get the fish.

Hey bud
you decided to get a pit, right? Why don't you get really serious about some basic dog knowledge before it gets completely out of your hands and you are BOTH in trouble?
Proper training especially when it comes to these breeds is priceless.
Good luck!
so do i
I was in the same situation as you. My dog was a handful to potty train. A lot of people say to try the crate training thing, but that didn't work for my dog. I have a little apartment too. I started getting familiar with the places she liked to go (they normally have a favorite spot or two) and when she did I would soak it up with a paper towel and blot the area with vinegar. That eliminates the smell to them and they tend to not mark their spot there anymore. Put down some dog training pads in that place and see if she goes on there. When she does bring her over to the pad to smell it and just get really excited and praise her with a treat. Also try to keep the windows open (especially if you have carpet, because it helps air out the smell. Glade plug-ins help too :) Good luck!
When you're around, I'd suggest leaving a 4-6 ft lead attached to her collar. Take it OFF when you leave, however, so that she doesn't hurt herself. Leave the lead on her when she's being supervised ONLY (which should be all the time). That way, you can simply lean down and grab the lead to take her out.
Also, I'd give some serious consideration to researching dog training. Enroll in a puppy class, as well.
