I have a japaense chin and I want to keep her in my kitchen. What would be a good gate solution?

I want something small.
Answers:
get a baby gate...you can get the ones that you raise the bar to take it down...you can get the ones that look like accordions or you can get ones that screw into the wall and have foot pedals you step on the swing them open.or you can just get a piece of plywood and cut it to your liking
I just use a baby-gate. They're cheap, and they work well.
I use it for my Siberian Husky even. I've trained her not to jump over it... But for a chin, I dont think it probably could even.
Buy a wire panel doggy playpen (not the plastic one). It costs maybe 50 bucks and you can use it anywhere. I wouldn't have a dog without one! You can use it has a playpen, to block off areas of the house, use it inside or outside. they are great. Also, Chin's are climbers.
Get a gate that doesnt have holes large enough for the dog to get stuck in.... this could hurt or even kill the dog!
I just use a thin wood slat and it works great you can get them any size at home depo
Just open the fridge and you don't need a gate
