Your Welcome!
1. I have 2 very hyper dogs and what they love to do that gets them tired out is swimming. I take them to a pond and let them swim or to a seculuded beach and just let them go. They love it!
2. No dog is ever too old to do agility. It is a great bond that you can form with your dog.
I don't know about your other questions, but I hope that these help.
1. Fetch! I love just running around with my dog or taking him for a watch, or attacking him with water...
2. They do say that you can't teach old dogs new tricks... but there isn't any harm in trying.
3. no idea, sorry
4. I actually never shop online
5. My dog loves when you scratch him right above his tail, on his back.
i have a black labradore retriever.she is still a pup,,, but as far as toys, the harder the better ,, she loooves to chew.. i make it a challenge for her tho,,, i get a hollow bone ind put peanut butter in it... or she likes apples too, core the apple, carefully. then peanut butter in it.. and play fetch with it.. lol. the kong toys.
As a retriever, frisbees, tennis balls, anything to play fetch with, go to the local park and let him run once you have gotten him to come to you on command of course., they love to run and bring back, even at 5 which is still a young adult dog , he is not past learning many tricks. Walks at least 2 X day.
do a search for Labrador, there are many great sites.
Best answer chosen by you?...you sound like a used car dealer. I would of loved to answer your question about your dog but I lost interest after the first paragraph, I felt like I was getting a call from some telemarketer.
Does she like to swim? Take her swimming, play ball, go for hikes or a nice long walk. run around the back yard with a sprinkler on. Play tug of war with a rope toy.
Find a beginners Agility class and enroll her. You never know until you try her out at it.
Sorry don't know any web sites for equipment. See if she likes it first OK.
Go to www.PlanetDog.com This is where I get all my Golden's their toys.:)
Your dog will enjoy just spending time with you what ever you decided to do. Golden's just love being with their people.
Golden's are the very best!
1) If you have access take her to the beach, I take my two Beagles who both HATE the bath but love the beach and I also take them to fenced dog parks, where the humans get to sit and chat and the dogs play or you can run them through the agility course.
2) She is not too old to learn agility, she still young.
3) Wont give you a website as I am unsure what country you are in but I will refer you to the RSPCA or the American version they will recommend the best club and equipment.
4) Kongs are great, especially if she loves to chew
5) My dogs love being brushed and playing tug of war with dog ropes.
1. What are some fun things that I can do with my dog? She is VERY hyper (since she is a golden retriever!)!
Take her to a dog park, and let her lose. My 4 year old husky LOVES this. He trots around like he's king.
2. I was thinking of doing agility with her, but, she's 5 years old. Is that too old to try to learn agility?
I dont really, know. But I'm sure you could teach her some really cool tricks!
3. I was wondering if I could have some good websites for Agility Equipment. Do you know of any?
4. What are some good golden retriever toys? Website links would be GREAT! Kong's, Are AMAZING! and so are pulling (Like tug-o-war) ropes.
5. What will my dog REALLY enjoy? Besides a belly rub?
Scratching behind her ears? Rub her butt? Spending time with you is really all she needs to be happy.
All I have to say, is you will make a great pet owner based upon your questions.
-You can play catch with her.
-You can go to any grocey store, and by her a cheap toy.
-One good toy, is the tug of war rope, play with it, see if she likes it! Another is a tennis ball, use it to play catch with her.
-Make her play chase with you! If she is hyper, she will love to chase you around the yard.
Try going to Google and Yahoo, or Wikkipedia.com and see if there is any results of playing and raising a golden retriver!
- One more thing try to get another dog as her Play Mate!
YOUR WELCOME! P.S.- I own a one year old chow mixed with a husky! Brownie! Good luck with your pal! Any more questions email me at: daniellmapp@yahoo.com!
Goldens are very active and therefore require much exercise. They are a breed that is prone to obesity, even more so than the Labrador Retrievers, so the average Golden Retriever should be walked briskly at least twice a day. Some dogs may be too active to be easily exercised by elderly owners.
Goldens should be groomed at least once a week, and every day during heavy shedding. Their coats shed heavily the entire year, and even more excessively during shedding season, which is normally in the spring as the dog loses its thick winter coat. They also need to have their ears cleaned regularly, or otherwise an ear infection might occur.

Here is a website for dog toys. supposed to be some of the best
http://www.kongcompany.com/worlds_best.h...
You Can Play Hide and seek. Or you can play search.
Search:
Have someone hide in the house. Have the dog outside, let the dog in and tell the to go find the other person.
I do agility with a couple of my dogs. It is really good for them. It is not to late to teach her. She may not be good enough to be competive, but for fun, any dog of any breed and age can do agility!!
Agility Equipment is very Expensive!!
It is much easier to mke your own.

KONGS!!

Like I said before, playing games. All dog love games. Or something your dog will like games!!
1)Teach your dog some out of the ordinary tricks. Like"shake left" and "shake right" yes, your dog can learn the difference. Once the dog masters shake ask for a specific paw and do not accept the wrong one. They learn that one pretty quick. A tougher one is to let your dog smell a treat. hide it (but not too hard at first) and get your dog to search for it. You amy have to lead the dog to the treat at first while you tell her to search.
2) No, not to old to learn. Don't let anyone tell you an old dog can't learn new tricks...it just isn't so. She may not be as fast as a younger dog but you can still have a lot of fun with her.
3)www.weave-poles.com/ the best in my opinion
4) Good one! Think "Retriver" Most anything you can throw and she can chase to bring back to you.
5) Dogs most enjoy spending time with their person. Playing games, doing tricks, practicing obedience. Alway, always reinforce good behavior with plenty of praise and a treat sometimes.
1. Take your dog for walks, play fetch, try a dog park to tire her out.
2. I don't recommend agility for your dog, but you could try it if you have the time and patience. You would need a lot of patience.
3. www.affordableagility.com/agil... I was going to do this with my dog but was talked out of it because she is a german shepherd.
4. You don't need a website for good toys. Kongs are great. frisbees. go to the petstore and ask an associate.
5. doggy massage is great. small circles all over the body.
good luck!
1. dogs love it when you get on the floor and wrestle. And Goldens Love to play with tennis type balls, and usually water. If you have(or can get) a kid's wadding pool, they like that.
2.Nawww dogs are never to old to learn something new.
3. I don't know this one, I would "google" agility training.
4. They like balls, as I said, and those hard "Kong" toys.
5.Really enjoy ear scratches, and oddly enough, most dogs like it if you kind of nibble on their cheeks.
Hi

1: She wil probably enjoy - swimming , loong runs and chasing sticks!
2:Its not too old to do agility. As long as she is agile! If shes too hyper then it might be a bit difficult! give it a go though.
